These cards ACTUALLY give you 14.8GB of memory which is very short of the 16GB they are advertised!

I don’t understand how sellers can legally advertise these cards for 16GB when they are over 1GB short. Unlike computers which come preloaded with “fluff” taking up precious memory already, these cards are supposed to be blank memory. The drivers included on them can’t possibly take up over 1GB of memory either… that’s like a 2hr high resolution full length movie already.

Somebody should bring a class action law suit against these practices so these manufacturers don’t feel free to short-change us to this extent so easily.

I bought this memeory card for my wife’s T-mobile Dash. It hold alot of stuff in it. My friend downloaded a ton of ASL video clips for my wife for her to watch. But it is not compatible with the Dash.

My friend found out the Dash accepts only 2GB or lower. 4GB and higher are SDHC and the Dash doesn’t recognize those cards.

Instead of sending the 16GB card back I kept it as portable storage. I would give it a 5 star rating, accept for the incompatibilty part. It’s a great product at an excellent price. Just make sure your device accepts it before you buy it.

I never received my package and the vendor does not wish to take responsibility. The postal service says that it never left the warehouse and they said it did, its such a horrible mess its been 15 days since Ive order it and nothing has arrived. ORDER THIS PRODUCT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE! THIS VENDOR WILL ROB YOU!

I’ve owned this card for 5 months now and use it in my LG Incite phone. Generally works fine. A few times it has gotten corrupted and required reformatting, but this could just as well be the phone and its software.

One key issue is that in trying to fix the corruption, at one point SanDisk believed the device was broken. But since it was sold as “bulk” they would not provide any warranty service and I would need to deal with the retailer. Further, I found a different formatting utility that was able to format it, despite SanDisk’s support believing it was a faulty device.

Shame on SanDisk for horrible support. They don’t stand behind their products. Technically, they’re worse than an hour searching google.

I learned recently that all is not equal when it comes to SD storage. Some cards are far faster than others, and that can make a big difference in some applications. But this one is just sitting in my phone storing MP3s and files, and speed is never a big deal here, so it’s okay that this is a middling-speed card. Plenty roomy for lots of stuff, too, at a good price.
